Camgian is seeking a Microsoft Engineer to support the architecture, implementation, and sustainment of the company’s Microsoft enterprise ecosystem. This role focuses on building and operating a secure Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environment supporting corporate, CUI, and classified operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, security-focused, and comfortable operating in regulated environments while continuing to grow technical depth across identity, endpoint security, and compliance platforms. This position reports to the Director of IT within the Operations organization and works closely with IT, Security, Network, Cloud, and DevSecOps teams in a blended on-site/remote work schedule. This role is responsible for ensuring Microsoft on-premise and cloud services—including Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Defender, and Purview—are architected and operated in alignment with CMMC and NIST 800-171 requirements. The ideal candidate will be based near a Camgian office. Our office locations are Starkville, MS, Tuscaloosa, AL, Huntsville, AL, and Lawton, OK.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or STEM field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Demonstrated experience administering Microsoft 365 enterprise tenants.
  • Strong experience with Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust and enterprise security principles.
  • Experience managing authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in CMMC / NIST 800‑171, ITAR (22CFR120-130)/EAR-compliant environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, Cloud Apps).
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM, compliance policies, configuration profiles).
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview (DLP, eDiscovery, retention, information protection).
  • Conditional Access, PIM, and RBAC design and implementation experience.
  • Hybrid identity integration with on-prem Active Directory.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience supporting secure collaboration platforms in regulated environments.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, SC-300, SC-200) are a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Architect and maintain a secure Microsoft 365 tenant aligned to Camgian security standards.
  • Own Entra ID identity lifecycle, authentication, and authorization configuration.
  • Design and enforce Conditional Access, MFA, device compliance, and identity security policies.
  • Manage Intune device compliance, endpoint configuration baselines, and security controls.
  • Implement and operate Microsoft Defender security tooling across endpoints, identities, and collaboration services.
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Purview compliance capabilities including DLP, retention, and information protection.
  • Support CMMC control implementation, audit preparation, and evidence generation.
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, Cloud, and Network teams to ensure Microsoft services integrate securely with enterprise infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including architectural diagrams, standards, runbooks, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in risk assessments and remediation efforts to address security gaps.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
